Why We Do Not Forsaken The Assembly...

What dose forsake not the assembly mean...

In these times and in these days it is very common to find people who have decided to leave the church. Doing this means they have left the assembly. Because when you leave a church you leave the body of the church, which is the assembly. This is a common issue that we find in this generation because of how the experience was with the church before. Most people said the same thing when it came to their bad experience with their previous church… I don’t understand what the pastor is saying, I don‘t like the fact that the church is so judgemental, the church is just money grabbing, they are just such hypocrites! When I look at a lot of the complainants that people have, I become so sad, because I know what is going to happen if they don’t turn around and correct their mistake. This is not to be disingenuous about peoples feelings and what they went through. But to get them to understand the protection the assembly gives them. Where going to talk about it.

In hebrews 10;25 it is said that “not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

The assembly is more than just a church, its about the community. I think that a lot of us struggle to see the value of the people who are around us, and fail to see the people separate from the church building. There are a lot of us who go to church and we don’t even speak to others. They will just go to church, clap their hands to a song, and listen to the sermon, then they will leave without making a connection with anyone. The assembly is like a gift to you and your family. There are people for you to commune with and a chance to make long lasting friendships. Its not easy to make good friends after you have become an adult and have children but the church assembly makes things a lot easier.

One of the first things that Yahusha did in his ministry was to form an assembly before he even did one miracle. First he wend around and found his twelve disciples, then he went out and taught the multitudes. this shows how important it is to do things as a pair or a group and not by yourself.(see Duteronomy 32:30) When it was time to send his disciples out on their own he even sent them out in pairs, so it is not good to be alone. So often we try to do things all by ourselves and then when things get bad we don’t have anyone around us to pick us up. The assembly is not only there when things are good and thriving, but they are also supposed to be there when things get bad and you need prayer. Its always good to have someone to talk to when things get tough and you know they are going to listen and they are going to actually care.

Duteronomy 32: 30

How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight except their rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up.
