False Gods And What They Mean To Us
What Are False Gods?
False gods are entities or creations that we create with our bare hands, or anything that somebody else has created that we have purchased with our money or our time. We praise and worship these things and love them over our creator The Most High Yah. We just spend so much time with these creations that they take attention from our Heavenly Father. The connection we are supposed to have with our Heavenly Father becomes cloudy, static, and stale. Rather if people agree or not our Heavenly Father is so patient with us as his children and creations that he gives us a chance to repent for our transgressions with these false gods.
When you are a believer in Yahusha and his salvation you are saying, this is my God and no one else shall come before him. We believe that he has died for our sins, Yahusha has risen, and now we are complete. But what you’ll find is people will accept his salvation and protection, then go back out and begin worshiping other things. These are people’s false gods.
So you might be thinking: “What, me? false gods! No way, I don’t have any false gods”. But, yes we all fall victim to this everyday.
Think about something that you love to do; like hanging out, listening to music, going to parties, or gaming. Now ask yourself do you love these things more than your Heavenly Father? Would you rather do the things that came to your mind over reading the word? These personal desires are just as bad as the false gods that religions create, follow, and worship. If you do not think so just read your Bible and see how the Heavenly Father’s holy people kept falling victim to their personal desires, and false gods that they learned from the other nations. The Holy people of the bible were a set apart people for The Most High Yah, who were to worship only him. But they kept worshiping themselves, and others deities in the very house of the Lord. This eventually lead to their demise and banishment. When we choose Yahusha and accept his salvation that is it. We must not be lead by deceptions and evil doctrines of the devil.
Matthew 6:24 (KJV) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
